Rachael Langey, BA

Cognitive Research Specialist

BIOGRAPHY

Rachael Langey joined the FTD center in October of 2014 after graduating from Smith College with a BA in Chemistry and Comparative Literature. Prior to joining the center, she coordinated clinical trials and worked doing genetic research in chronic lymphocytic leukemia at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston. As an in-house research specialist, Rachael sees patients at the University of Pennsylvania for neuropsychological testing and coordinates bringing in families for participation in the center’s genetic and familial studies. Her current research interest is in semantic knowledge in neurodegenerative disease, and she hopes to pursue graduate school in the future.
